Sasha Thorne, Programme Director
Nozipho Sasha Thorne started as Programme Director of boMake Rural Projects in January 2018. Having worked in community development through Fair Trade, and as a facilitator and stands manager for the Bushfire Festival, Sasha brings a creative edge and a wealth of experience to boMake.
Nhlanhla Nkambule, Projects Coordinator
Nhlanhla came to boMake in 2013 after more than 7 years in the teaching sector. He started as our WASH Project Officer and became Programme Coordinator in 2016. In 2018, he assumed the position of Projects Manager. He’s enjoyed interacting with different people at all levels and being part of a team bringing sustainable change to vulnerable communities in the country
Ngcebo Mavuso, Education Officer
Ngcebo, who joined boMake in June 2017, trained at the Young People’s Leadership Academy in Zimbabwe and is a sexual and reproductive health and rights(SRHR) advocate. She previously worked as a youth mentor for the Family Life Association of Swaziland (FLAS) and the Alliance of Mayors Initiative for Community Action on AIDS at the Local Level (AMICAALL), Manzini.
Pesheya Nxumalo, WASH Officer
Phesheya has been boMake Rural Projects’ Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Officer since December 2017. After graduating from the University of Swaziland with a Bsc. in Environmental Health Science he worked as a hygiene promoter with World Vision Swaziland before joining us. He’s relishing the responsibilities that come with being our WASH Officer.
Nomhle Dlamini, Monitoring and Evaluation Intern
Nomhle, who majored in Statistics at the University of Swaziland, put her expertise to good use in carrying out our WASH survey in the first quarter of 2018. She’s hoping to find a job in monitoring and evaluation where she can apply the skills she has acquired as our Monitoring and Evaluation intern.
